Signe Wilkinson's Letter
Dear V.G. Narendra:
More great press! Thank you though I can't read Hindi, I'm afraid. I was very pleased and honored with the care you took with my cartoons and with the publicity you arranged. From the photos, the show looked nicely arranged in the gallery.
My one suggestion is to arrange a program with a local university or social organization which might help pay for the cartoonist's trip. For example, I speak widely at US Colleges and universities.
I give formal lectures with slides of my work to large audiences and also do small classes with art or political science students. That way the next generation gets to see and understand the power of political cartoons. It would amplify the reach of the exhibit.
Again, thank you for the privilege of having my cartoons shown in India.
